Explore the area of Spielboden or the Stafelwald and you will probably come across marmots. They like to be fed peanuts or carrots all summer long. It is a great activity for children and adults.
In winter the cute little fellows sleep peacefully in their caves. The hibernation lasts between 6 and 8 months. From mid-April the marmots are seen again and are looking forward to your visit!

Alone or in pairs, the Feeblitz in Saas-Fee is always a spectacular experience. First take the steepest toboggan lift in the Alps up to the start of the track – then hurtle back down the mountain along the breathtaking track at speeds of up to 40km/h. Minimum age 3 years old.
The Mattmark reservoir, perfect for hikers, runners and bikers.
The trail around the lake is 8km long and takes you per foot around in 2,5hours.
Our tip is to bring a picnic basket and enjoy a homemade lunch next to a waterfall with a breathtaking view.

From the 1st overnight stay onwards, with the SaastalCard, you can use the cable cars in the Saas Valley free of charge (except Metro Alpin). All PostBus rides in the Saas Valley are also included (not valid for arrival and departure by PostBus). You also benefit from reductions of between up to 30 % on a total of 36 offers.

During your stay - and optionally on the day of arrival or departure - you can use 9 cable cars free of charge (excl. Metro Alpin).
Dogs are not included and pay a quarter of the adult rate from a height of 30 cm.
The SaastalCard is valid on the mountain railways for pedestrians until 30 november.
Tourist tax not included in the rental price. Summer tax is CHF 7,- per adult per night and CHF 4,50 per child per night (6-16y).
